Our Team

Line Faucher, Vice-President

Education

Degree in chemical engineering at the University of Sherbrooke in 1991.

Additional courses in quality assurance and management.

Trainer certified by Emploi-Quebec No. 7241.

Position

Mrs. Faucher is vice-president and in charge of the quality management  division of Proaction.

Career

From 1994 to 1995, Mrs. Faucher has served as Assistant Quality Coordinator at CIMA +.

Her first mandate was to make the implementation of quality assurance system ISO 9001, as an employee in the company where she worked. A year later, the company obtained its certificate of registration to ISO 9001. Mrs. Faucher then ensured the smooth operation and improvement of the quality system in place, in addition to assisting other offices of the firm in their system implementation of quality management.

From 1995 to 1998 she was cumulating more duties by being also consultant for quality assurance for external customers of CIMA +.

Following the ownership of the quality system in-house, Mrs. Faucher had an availability of time. It began as a freelance consultant to then create the service quality assurance consulting office in CIMA +, Sherbrooke. She had, at that time, advised and trained over a hundred companies that were engaged in quality initiatives.

Since 1998, she is a consultant for quality management at Proaction.

She continues to assist companies to obtain, maintain or improve their system of quality management in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001 and also works during the implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. It operates primarily in the fields of engineering and consulting services as well as production companies.

Its services are intended to meet the specific needs of the business. They generally cover the following aspects:

  • Training (ISO 9001, internal audit)
  • Consulting services (implementation, monitoring)
  • Internal audits
  • Other assistance on request (outsourcing, writing)

Alain Beauchesne, President

Education

Degree in electrical engineering at the University of Sherbrooke in 1989.

Additional courses in productivity, logistic, information systems, quality assurance and management.

Specific training "Impact / Kaïzen - SME" recognized as "Lean Manufacturing consultant" by the "Ministère du Développement Économique, Innovation et Exportation - MDEIE" of Quebec.

Teacher approved by the "Ministère de l'Éducation, Loisir et Sport - MELS" of Québec for courses in industrial engineering.

Position

Mr. Beauchesne is president and in charge of the management, productivity and systems divisions of Proaction.

Career

From 1987 to 1995, he held a variety of functions and positions in industrial companies.

Mr. Beauchesne was during this period, test engineer, production manager, and cumulatively, director of logistics (purchase, transport, planning, warehouse), plant engineering, quality assurance and information system manager.He worked for TIE Communications Canada, C-MAC and Genpak Canada.

From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Beauchesne became consultant in reengineering at CIMA +.

He was project manager and associate in the department of reengineering at CIMA +.  During this time, he was responsible for the administration, systems development approaches to continuous improvement and project management.  He has particular expertise in the overall improvement of production operations and "coaching" business managers.

Since 1998, he is consultant in productivity, systems and management at ProAction.

Currently, he conducts global productivity mandates, sponsorship management committee, lean manufacturing (kaizen) projects, product engineering, outsourcing in interim management, creation, support and implementation of systems, global or partial business diagnostics, process reengineering, and customized training courses on specific projects.
